Props to the Gardener

TUSCON, Arizona: Flowers that wouldn’t be here, if it weren’t for the gardener. But isnt that the way it always is? Unless you are in a prairie most of the floral landscapes we surround ourselves with are man made. That was certainly the case at the Arizona Inn, where I was recently lucky enough to spend some time with some good friends. Colors are brighter in Tucson. I blame it on the lack of humidity, no haze to soften the edges. The gardens were so very impressive! This is the desert for crying out loud!

Signature Tombstone Rose was spotted throughout the landscape often. Could this be the equivalent of the cherry blossoms in NYC? It sure was gorgeous.

The oranges were dripping from the trees, but I was told they were not edible. Too dry?
