Lucky Girl Comes Home to Flowers

HUMBOLDT STREET, Brooklyn: I know, I know. These flowers have nothing to do with urban farming or eating local. But they had to have been grown somewhere, right!?
It’s not too often I get flowers, so I wanted to give my boy a little recognition for doing something sweet. They were waiting for me when I got home from my parents house. Even though I’m not usually crazy about the look of it, the eucalyptus is filling the whole apartment with a sweet homey smell that keeps reminding me of the holidays.

The autumn colors and textures make our kitchen feel cozy, and me very loved. Good job, Brad.
